David spent 35 years in the advertising business as Senior Art/Creative Director at 3 of Toronto's top agencies. In 1995 he and his wife, Ida left their respective careers and opened a Sailing Charter business in The Caribbean. After 12 very successful years, they returned to Canada, where David returned to his love of painting. He has since held classes in watercolour painting, completed a number of commissions and won several awards, the latest being Juror's Choice at The BMFA's 2022 Juried Art Show.
