Our Story

The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts (BMFA) has been a cornerstone of Collingwood’s cultural community for 49 years, fostering creativity and connection among artists and art lovers alike. Originally founded to support local talent, the BMFA has grown into a dynamic cultural hub that brings together artists, ideas, and creative traditions.

Through exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, and community outreach, the BMFA provides a platform for young, emerging, and established artists, enriching the region’s cultural landscape.

At the heart of our work is a commitment to accessibility and inclusion. Situated in downtown Collingwood, the BMFA welcomes artists and community members—regardless of background, experience, or medium.
