Join 2024 Robert G. Kemp Award winner Rob Chatwin for an inspiring evening exploring the magic of filmmaking with puppets and stop motion animation. Rob will share insights into his creative process and debut his two new short films, Kody and Austin Ave.

About the Artist:
Rob Chatwin was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he received his formal art education, studying stop-motion animation at the Emily Carr College of Art. Since moving to Collingwood, Ontario, in 1994, Rob has continued to nurture his passion for film, working as a film technician alongside local filmmakers and production companies.
In addition to his artistic pursuits, Rob has over 30 years of experience supporting youth as a counsellor on the inpatient psychiatry unit at SickKids Hospital in Toronto.
He extends his deepest gratitude to his family and friends for their continued encouragement, with special thanks to Tom Strnad at Mountain Goat Films for his ongoing generosity and support.

Presented annually by the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts, the Robert G. Kemp Award provides funding for a project that benefits the residents of the Southern Georgian Bay region through the arts.
