Serving South Georgian Bay since 1975
Sponsors, Donors and Members are the life-blood of the BMFA's ongoing success
The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts (BMFA) is a non-profit, charitable arts organization whose mission is to promote the arts throughout the Georgian Bay region. Established in 1975, we are the leading voice for artists in the performing, visual and literary arts for for the benefit and well-being of our citizens, visitors and the communities we serve.
The BMFA is grateful for the financial support we receive from our sponsors, donors and members. Thank you!
Exhibition and event sponsors make it possible for the BMFA to organize and stage our many activities throughout the year. Sponsors are businesses that see a major role for the arts in strengthening our community. Sponsors contributions go directly towards the financing of an event and in turn, sponsors are recognized and publicly thanked through advertising ventures in support of their event. Sponsorship is a great way for businesses to support arts programming through the allocation of a portion of their marketing budget.
Donations of cash, stock and bequests are a growing segment of BMFA fundraising efforts. Donors and patrons are listed on the home page of our website and thanked publicly at the AGM, as well as in the Arts Centre with a permanent memento for all to see. Donations are essential to the long-term viability of the BMFA. They allow us to operate professionally and administer our programs effectively. These funds also allow us to introduce new creative initiatives and address cultural shifts and challenges as they arise.
Although governments contribute financially in some measure to the BMFA, we rely upon the vast majority of our support from individuals and private companies. We look forward to your support as a Member, Sponsor or Donor. Enquire today or complete an application / donation form.
