The Simcoe County Heritage Quilt Project

The BMFA is one of five art hubs in Simcoe county that are working together with the county (they are underwriting it with the help of Dulux paints) to have 150 painted quilts erected on barns throughout the county. Each hub is responsible for 30 painted quilts over the course of the project. This began as a Canada 150 project, but with delays in a number of areas it has been slow to gain momentum.

Attached please find an "Expression of Interest" form, which is your application to take part in this project. Please email your application as directed in the form to Simcoe County, or bring it to the Arts Centre.

For more detail about this exciting project, please follow this link: https://experience.simcoe.ca/simcoe-county-barn-quilt-trail. If you own a barn, or know a barn-owner who might be interested in being a host for this project, please see This Barn Host Application.
